A series of information sessions
Over the next few months, Rachel Stubbs & Associates in conjunction with
Community Links Wollondilly will be presenting a series of workshops for the community regarding a number of legal issues that can often arise for Families.These include:

> Family Law
> Mediation
> Divorce
> Property
Each session will be presented by a Solicitor from Rachel Stubbs & Associates.

The Motherhood Journey is a 6 week program for women who are in the third trimester of their pregnancy. Not all women find the Motherhood Journey easy and there can be a lot of shame about this. The Motherhood Journey is a safe environment where women can discuss fears and desires without judgement.
Each session runs for 2 hours and consists of:
* a different discussion topic each week eg. relationships, inner guidance/intuition, self esteem, attachment
* time for discussion and sharing of concerns in a group therapy layout
Sessions have a Gestalt Therapy focus and are run by fully qualified Psychotherapists
Location: NSW Central Coast, Pickets Valley
Dates: TBA - depending on interest and availability

An accredited first aid course is being run for the parents and carers of babies and young children.
The course runs every month over two days from 10am – 2pm. Lunch is provided and babies are welcome to attend with their carer.
The course costs $60 and has been partially subsidised by Kingsgrove Community Aid Centre.

Please help support local family and carers looking after someone with a chronic health condition, frail aged, has a disability or mental illness and invite them along to the Carer Safari….
(The Carer Safari is brought to you by a number of health and non government service providers across Macarthur and Wingecarribee)
Day 1 is mainly focussed on information provision encompassing an EXPO of local services and several presentations including Centrelink and Occupational Therapists….to support the carers with information to help them in their caring role…..
Day 2 is more therapeutic in nature offering a component of therapeutic activities for the carers to indulge in and take the opportunity to self reflect on their own needs throughout their caring experience…. Activities on offer encompass Meditation, Yoga, Hand massage…. The carers also are given a free therapeutic gift pack to take home to encourage their relaxation at home i.e. bath bombs, candles, hand held massager and creams etc…. the presentations on day 2 encompass Legal matters (guardianship, power of attorney etc), Carers NSW, Dietician and the Aged Care Rights Service….Lucky door prizes are given both days and the carers have several opportunities to network and get to know one another……
