How long until we find out if we are successful?

 
 

A. 

You will be contacted by the CSAHS Parenting Coordinator Approximately 5-6 weeks after the closing date for submissions.

If we are unsuccessful will someone explain why?

 
 

A. 

Yes. You will be notified by mail, and offered a time to contact the CSAHS Parenting Coordinator who will explain the strengths in your application and also areas that may be improved. You may than choose to resubmit your application in the next funding round.

Q. 

Who are the members of the Selection Committee?

 
 

A. 

The Selection Committee is made up of representatives from Families First, CSAHS, Local Government Authorities, DET and the non-government sector. Selection Committee members will be recruited for each funding round and will not be eligible to submit for funding in that round. The representative from Families First will be a standing member. The Committee will be chaired by the CSAHS Parenting Coordinator who will not have voting rights.

How often will the Selection Committee meet?

Every six months.

Why do we have to include six copies of our application?

 
 

A. 

Every application is read by the 6 member Selection Committee. By already supplying us with enough copies for each person we can distribute them quickly and without needing to allocate resources for the task of photocopying and purchasing paper. More money to support programs.

If we are successful can we apply again?

 
 

A. 

Yes. You need to demonstrate that your previously funded initiatives have at least commenced.

A. 

We cover Rhodes, Concord West, Breakfast Point, Gabarita, Abbortsford, Drummoyne, Birchgrove, Homebush, Concord, Russell Lea, Balmain, Canada Bay, Rodd Point, Rozelle, Lilyfield, Strathfield, Burwood, Croydon, Haberfield, Annandale, Glebe, Strathfield South, Burwood Heights, Ashfield, Lewisham, Stanmore, Camperdown, Greenacre, Belfield, Croydon Park, Ashbury, Dulwich Hill, Enmore, Hurlstone Park, Marrickville, St Peters, Campsie, Belmore, Lakemba, Wiley Park, Punchbowl, Roselands, Kingsgrove, Riverwood, Narwee, Beverly Hills, Kingsgrove, Earlwood and Tempe.
