This year’s conference “Promoting resilience: Stacking the odds in kids’ favour” will focus on how we can build resilience in children and adolescents. This conference aims to provide evidence based information, as well as practical strategies on how we can foster resilience in children. Presentations include: Is there evidence in favour of building resilience? Strategies to build resilience in children Strategies to prevent and intervene with bullying – what is effective? Effective coping strategies for adolescents Fostering psychological wellbeing Enhancing teacher resilience and promoting resilience in the classroom This conference will be of interest to psychologists, school counsellors, guidance officers, school executives, teachers, support and special education teachers, allied health and medical professionals.
