Funding Criteria
Essential:
- Addresses parenting education for parents of children 0-8 years;
- Service to be provided within Inner West Area, using Families First geographic
boundary;
- Demonstrate responsiveness to community needs;
- Evidence of an evaluation strategy developed for use;
- Agencies applying for funding will also need to contribute resources to the
project.
Desirable:
- Initiatives that provide assistance to families who need extra support (Families First Field
of Activity 3);
- Initiatives that improve the connection between families and the community (Families First
Field of Activity 4);
- Initiatives that demonstrate use of strengths based practice;
- Initiatives that demonstrate collaboration and partnerships with other agencies;
- The provision of evidence-based parenting programs such as Triple P - Positive Parenting
Program or Magic 123
